Ivoclar Tetric N-PowerFlow 2 Refill

Description :

Tetric N-PowerFlow 2 is a light-curing, radiopaque, flowable composite resin designed by Ivoclar primarily for bulk-fill restorations of posterior (back) teeth. It is part of the Tetric N2-Line of dental composites and can be cured in increments of up to 4 mm.

Key Features :

Aessencio and Ivocerin technology: The composite uses Aessencio technology, which reduces translucency during polymerization to achieve a more lifelike aesthetic, especially when used to restore discolored tooth structure. The patented Ivocerin light initiator enables reliable curing of the large 4 mm increments, allowing for short light exposure times.

Efficient and time-saving: As a 4 mm bulk-fill material, it allows for fewer layers during the restorative process, which can reduce treatment time by up to 51% in the posterior region when used with other complementary Ivoclar products like Tetric N-PowerFill 2.

Self-leveling: The material's flowable consistency and self-leveling effect ensure excellent adaptation to cavity walls, reducing the risk of air entrapment and providing a good marginal seal.

Specification :

Tetric N-PowerFlow 2 is indicated for direct restorative treatments in posterior teeth. Its primary indications are:

As the first increment or initial layer in Class I and Class II restorations in permanent posterior teeth.

Restorations in deciduous (baby) posterior teeth.

Ivoclar Liquid Strip Refill 1x2.5 g
IVOCLAR
Ivoclar Liquid Strip Refill 1x2.5 g

Description :

Ivoclar Liquid Strips is a glycerin-based gel used in dental restorations to create an oxygen-inhibited barrier during the final light-curing of composite materials. By creating an oxygen-free environment, it ensures complete polymerization of the surface, which improves the final properties of the restoration.

Features :

Composition: Ivoclar Liquid Strips is a clear, biocompatible, glycerin-based gel.

Packaging: It is typically available in a syringe with application tips for precise and easy application.

Mechanism: When exposed to air, the final surface layer of light-cured composite resin does not fully polymerize, resulting in a thin, soft, "oxygen-inhibited layer". Ivoclar Liquid Strips prevents this by blocking the oxygen on the restoration's surface during the final light-curing process.

Key Specification :

Ivoclar Liquid Strips is indicated for use in both composite and ceramic dental restorations. Specific applications include:

Light-cured composite restorations: Used to ensure the complete polymerization of the final surface layer in direct composite fillings.

Cementation of restorations: Applied to the margins of indirect restorations like inlays, onlays, and veneers during cementation with a resin luting agent.

Protects the etching pattern: Used to protect the delicate etched surface of lab-fabricated, all-ceramic restorations during try-in and cementation.

Try-in paste for ceramic and composite restorations: The glycerin gel can fill the cement gap during a try-in to simulate the influence of the luting composite on the restoration's final shade.

Ivoclar Ivoclean Refill 5g

Description :

Ivoclar Ivoclean is a universal cleaning paste designed to effectively clean the bonding surfaces of dental restorations that have been contaminated by saliva during intraoral try-in. This process is crucial for ensuring a strong and durable bond between the restoration and the luting material.

Features :

Composition: It consists of a dispersion of metal oxide (zirconia) particles in water.

Mechanism of action: The zirconia particles in Ivoclean have a high affinity for the phosphate particles found in saliva. This allows Ivoclean to pull the salivary contaminants away from the restoration surface.

Cleaning time: The paste needs to be applied and left to act for only 20 seconds.

Application: It is applied with a microbrush or brush, then thoroughly rinsed with water and dried with oil-free air.

Post-cleaning: After cleaning, the restoration should not be re-contaminated with saliva or blood. If contamination occurs, the entire procedure must be repeated.

Key Specification :

Ivoclean is indicated for the extraoral cleaning of prosthetic restorations after they have been tried in the patient's mouth and are potentially contaminated with saliva. It is universal and can be used on various restorative materials, including:

Glass-ceramics

Ivoclar Tetric N Ceram Syringe Refill

Description:

Ivoclar Tetric N-Ceram is a light-curing, radiopaque nano-hybrid composite designed for a wide range of direct restorative procedures. Its advanced technology offers excellent aesthetics, reliable mechanical properties, and ease of use for both anterior and posterior restorations.

Key Features :

Technology: Uses nano-hybrid technology, which incorporates a mix of different-sized filler particles, including nano-fillers. The "nano-optimized" formulation provides excellent strength, high polishability, and low wear.

Aesthetics: The material features nano-color pigments and specific filler technology that create a "chameleon effect." This allows the restoration to blend in naturally with the surrounding tooth structure. A wide range of shades is available, including enamel, dentin, bleach, and highly translucent options.

Handling: A nano-modifier ensures that the composite has optimal stability and is easy to sculpt without sticking to instruments.

Mechanical properties: It is known for low polymerization shrinkage and high strength.

Specification :

Universal use: Suitable for restorations in both the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth.

Cavity classifications: Recommended for Class I, II, III, IV, and V restorations.

Other applications:

Restoration of deciduous (baby) teeth.

Extended fissure sealing.

Direct veneers.

Splinting of mobile teeth.

Blocking out of undercuts.
