Description :

IPS Ceramic Etching Gel is a hydrofluoric acid-based etching gel manufactured by Ivoclar for the surface treatment of glass-ceramic restorations. It is a toxic and corrosive material designed for extraoral use only, meaning it should never be applied inside a patient's mouth.

Features :

Composition: Contains approximately 5% hydrofluoric acid (HF).

Appearance: A viscous, red-colored gel for easy visibility during application.

Action: Creates a micro-retentive surface on the glass-ceramic, which increases the surface area and enhances the bond strength between the ceramic and composite cement.
