Cention N is an "alkasite" restorative material, a type of bulk-fill composite that offers high strength and bioactive properties. The material is a two-component system, consisting of a powder and a liquid. It is self-curing, with an optional light-curing component.

The liquid component is a clear fluid that contains the resin matrix and initiators for the setting reaction.
